Honey Processing Line for Food Industry

A honey processing line is a fully industrialized processing system that transforms raw honey into bottled or packaged finished honey. Its core is to achieve automated and continuous production of honey melting, filtering, concentration, filling, and packaging under low-temperature, sealed, and hygienic conditions, so as to preserve the natural nutrition and flavor of honey to the greatest extent.

How does the Honey Extracting Line Work?

  1. Raw Honey Melting: You can safely melt the collected crystallized raw honey into a fluid liquid honey through low-temperature, gentle stirring and heating.
  2. Preheating: By preheating the melted honey at a uniform, constant temperature to further reduce its viscosity and improve fluidity, it can meet the subsequent filtration and concentration processes.
  3. Filtration: We remove beeswax, bee carcasses, impurities, and suspended solids from the honey through multi-stage filtration (coarse and fine), making the honey clear and transparent.
  4. Concentration: Using a low-temperature vacuum concentration process, excess water in the honey is evaporated, and the moisture content is precisely controlled (≤18%) to meet the national standard for finished honey.
  5. Filling: The concentrated and qualified honey is automatically filled into glass bottles, plastic bottles, or barrels according to the set weight or volume.
  6. Screw Capping: Automatically screw caps, press caps, or seal with aluminum foil on filled containers to ensure container sealing and prevent secondary contamination and leakage of honey.
  7. Labeling: Automatically affix product labels (brand, logo, ingredients, specifications, etc.) to finished bottles to enhance product brand image and recognition.
  8. Inkjet Printing: Printing information such as production date, batch number, and shelf life on the bottle body or cap to achieve product traceability management.

Features of the Honey Processing Line

  1. Low-temperature Processing: The entire process is carried out in a low-temperature vacuum environment, with low-temperature melting and concentration of honey to avoid high temperatures damaging the active nutrients in the honey.
  2. Food-grade Materials: We make all material-contact parts of the honey production line from 304 stainless steel. The material is corrosion-resistant, rust-resistant, and meets food production hygiene standards.
  3. Integrated Continuous Operation: Integrating the entire process of honey melting, filtration, concentration, sterilization, filling and packaging, the honey processing line is continuously running with tight connections.
  4. Closed Production Environment: The honey is transported through fully enclosed pipelines and tanks, isolating it from external dust and bacteria, and preventing secondary contamination and oxidation.
  5. Multi-stage Precision Filtration: We equip the honey bottling line with both coarse and fine filtration systems. These systems effectively remove beeswax, impurities, and suspended solids, leaving the honey clear and transparent.

Advantages of the Honey Processing Line

  1. Locking in Natural Quality: Low-temperature processing greatly preserves the enzyme value, vitamins, and natural floral aroma of honey, eliminating burnt taste and resulting in a pure taste.
  2. Stable Quality: The production line can precisely control moisture and consistency, unify product standards, avoid fermentation and spoilage, and extend shelf life.
  3. Save on Labor Costs: Automated production lines replace manual operations, reduce human contact, lower labor costs, and improve production efficiency.
  4. Wide Range of Applications: It can process various types of honey such as wildflower honey, acacia honey, linden honey, and crystallized honey, and supports multiple packaging specifications including bottled, barrelled, and bagged.
  5. High Production Efficiency: The continuous production line has a large processing capacity and stable operation, enabling large-scale honey processing and shipment in a short time.

FAQ

Q 1: What are the production capacity specifications for the honey production line?

We offer a full range of small, medium, and large-scale products with daily outputs ranging from 500 kg to 10 tons, and you can customize them. We support semi-automatic and fully automatic configurations to meet the different needs of bee farms, small processing plants, and large food factories.

Q 2: How long does processed honey last?

The honey processing line includes filtration, low-temperature sterilization, and dehydration to ensure that the finished honey meets the required moisture content. Under sealed packaging, you can store it at room temperature for 18–24 months and it ,is not prone to fermentation, bubbling, or spoilage.

Q 3: Can crystallized honey process?

Absolutely. Honey extracting lines have dedicated temperature-controlled melting tanks that gently melt crystallized honey without compromising its quality. Homogenization can then be performed to delay secondary crystallization.

Q 4: What conditions are necessary for installation?

You can install the honey bottling line in a conventional food workshop, with a flat ground, water, and electricity supply. The equipment occupies a compact area, and you can plan it according to the layout of the workshop, with few site restrictions.
